Range: South America - Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil.

Subspecies: P. j. jacquacu, P. j. granti, P. j. speciosa, P. j. orienticola

Habitat: Tropical forests

Status in Wild: Stable

Status in Aviculture: Rare.
