Black-billed Capercaillie

Other Names: Rock Capercaillie, Siberian Capercaillie, Spotted Capercaillie, Small-billed Capercaillie, Felsenauerhuhn (German), Kemennyi Glukhar (Russian)

Range: Eastern Siberia.

Subspecies: Tetrao parvirostris parvirostris, T. p. stegmanni, T. p. kamschaticus

Habitat: Montane forests and taiga.

Status in Wild: Not well known.

Avicultural Data

Status in Aviculture: There are probably no Black-billed Capercaillie in North America and only kept in limited numbers overseas.
