Other Names: African Harlequin Quail.

Subspecies/Range: C. d. delegorguei - Africa, south of the Sahara; C. d. d. histrionica - Sγo Tomι; C. d. arabica - southwestern Arabia.

Habitat: Grasslands

Status in Wild: Locally common.

Avicultural Data

Status in Aviculture: This species is presently kept in European aviaries; status in North America is not known.
